The history of barefoot footwear
Walking barefoot is probably the oldest form of human locomotion. The human foot has therefore evolved to adapt to various types of terrain, developing a complex structure of bones, muscles, tendons, and nerves that give it flexibility, sensitivity, and endurance.
Let's measure our feet well
Tape a sheet of paper to the floor.
Place one foot on the paper and trace the outline with a pencil or pen perpendicular to the floor. If possible, have someone help you. Repeat the procedure with the other foot. Measure the distance from the heel to the longest toe with a ruler or tape measure.
The correct transition
The transition from normal shoes to barefoot is not an immediate process , but requires time, patience and gradualness. The foot, in fact, must get used to a new way of support and movement , and must develop the strength and mobility necessary to support the load without the help of external supports.
Summer is coming and albaPluma is by your side
It will be a women's sandal in (as many as) seven color variations, accompanied by a children's sandal in three color combos. In short, as you can imagine, there will be something for everyone.
